To the piano students who sit underneath the portion of the ceiling that is falling apart and have been enduring little bits of plaster falling on their heads, I think they will all be glad when it is done.
Lessons this week have been a little bit challenging to say the least. With all the pounding it is hard for the kids to keep their counting going. We tried to get the roofers to take some of the responsibility for the lack of counting but that was a no go. They said the kids needed to play louder so that the guys on the roof could hammer to the beat.
All in all I think we will all be glad when the roof and the new ceiling are done. By the way the color that the rev chose for the roof looks great.

Perhaps teaching the kids to play "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" would help. Or maybe "Up on the Roof" sung by the Drifters. Then again, you could work on their violin lessons with "Fiddler on the Roof." Whatever you might choose... be very careful... shingles are contatious.
