in the know

Have you ever wanted to be "in the know" and then when you where there you wished you weren't?

I made the mistake of asking a clarifying question so that I would understand more the direction that the company that I work for is going.

I am now "in the know" and there is no turning back. I now know how things are going to affect my co-workers. I have also been told not to tell said co-workers.

Ignorance is defined as:
  1. lack of knowledge, education, etc.
  2. unawareness (of)
I now understand the term "ignorance is bliss" like never before. I was so much happier when I had a "lack of knowledge".

I guess its true you should watch out what you wish for.
