Just when you think you've got it covered life throws you a curve. Jill was asked to help a little lady get a urine sample. Normally no prob. But the challenges kept coming on this one:
1. She was elderly, which meant probably hard of hearing.
2. She was blind.
3. She spoke no english.
Jill started speaking to her in Spanish, thinking that the patient was understanding her, only to realize that the patient was Mayan and only spoke the Mayan language. The good news is Jill prevailed. The urine culture was collected.
Jill-the-germophobe you ROCK!!! pass the hand sanitizer please.
