Neither the Rev nor I have traveled stand-by before. Last night at 10 we were wondering about this plan when we received a call that said "your standby flight is over-sold, you should try to fly out of airport B instead". Thanks Tanya for watching our backs on this one.

We are planner people. We like lists. We like to know what is going to happen. Rev in particular is not crazy about airports anyway and with him not being a night person it just wasn't pretty.

Plan B has been put into affect. Our car has a home for the 2 weeks while we are in Germany. We will deal with how we get it back later. One step at a time.

Germany via Amsterdam here we come. Wish us luck. I hope they speak English at the train station in Amsterdam--I only brought a German phrase book with us.
