Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones

Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones, those that live in areas of severe hail storms should however live in stone homes.

Today around 4:30 a severe weather warning was issued, this included a thunderstorm watch. Shortly after that the wind began to blow, the thunder started to boom, and we began to batten down the hatches.

Then the severe weather began. We got hail the size of ping pong balls and wind that was incredible.

We lost one window and had damage to several screens and the roof leaked a little. We were incredibly fortunate. Just down the street from us our neighbors didn't fare so well. Siding is missing all over the place, trees and power lines are down and the fire dept has been really busy.

Thankful both the church and the parsonage are stone buildings so minimal damage was experienced and the parish hall is nicely cushioned between the two.

Hopefully the insurance will cover the window replacement and maybe even fix the roof. Rev will have to look into that.
