The Kid had flute lessons today. She goes to flute lessons two towns over, about a 45-50min drive away. To get there we have to go through our town, which has no traffic lights, the next town which has a blinking light and then into our destination, a town with two or three traffic lights.
Today I was brave and let the Kid drive us there.
This evening we had a discussion about who has the right-of-way when you are making a left hand turn from a left hand turn lane at an intersection.
Just because you have a green light doesn't mean that the on-coming big truck will always stop and wait for you. His light is green too.
I guess that is why they give them a permit first and not a license to begin with.
